S’Mores Ice Cream

icecream-3.JPG

ingredients:

any vanilla ice cream recipe (churn or no churn) i used this one - https://www.kitchenaid.com/content/dam/global/documents/201505/owners-manual-W10680708-RevA.pdf

1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs

1 bag of semisweet chocolate chunks (mine were too big so i chopped them smaller) or 2 chocolate bars

1 1/2 cups mini marshmallows

marshmallow fluff (optional)

*these are just the amounts i used, but you can add more or less depending on how you like it!*

(Optional) Save about 1/2 cup of the chocolate to melt and drizzle on top at the end.

churn method directions:

When your ice cream is almost done churning add in the graham cracker crumbs, marshmallows and chocolate. Make sure to save extra of each ingredient to put on the top for decoration!

Churn for an additional 3 minutes just to combine the ingredients. Pour into a dish and spread it out evenly. Place in the freezer for 3-4 hours or until desired consistency.

no churn directions:

Follow the steps of whatever recipe you are using, but before you add the ice cream base to the dish make sure to fold in the graham cracker crumbs, chocolate chunks, and marshmallows.

toppings:

Remove from the freezer and drizzle on the melted chocolate and marshmallow fluff. The marshmallow fluff was too thick so I microwaved it in 10 second intervals until I could drizzle it.

Sprinkle on the graham cracker crumbs and some marshmallows. If you have a blowtorch, you can toast the marshmallows right now! If not, I recommend toasting the marshmallows separately on the broil setting of your oven, then putting them on your ice cream.

Wait 5 minutes before serving to make scooping it easier. Enjoy!!
